1.) Are the same Restaurants available for delivery in both Eugene and Springfield?
ANSWER: No, unfortunately they are not. To see which Restaurants are available to you, simply choose the "View Menus" link at the top of our home page. Then, on the right side of the page, use the "Filter this list based on where you are located" drop down box to choose your location. The screen will refresh and show you which Restaurants are available for delivery to your location.
2.) What are your hours of operation?
ANSWER: Our Eugene delivery service is open Monday-Friday 11am-9:30pm, Saturday 2pm-9:30pm & Sunday 4:30pm-8:45pm.
Our Springfield delivery services is open Monday-Friday 4pm-9:00pm, Saturday 2pm-9:00pm & Sunday 4:30pm-8:45pm.
3.) Do I have to order on-line?
ANSWER: No!
Feel free to call us in the office during our normal business hours. We
are more than happy to take your order over the phone. 541-485-2090.
4.) If I pay with cash, will my driver have enough change?
ANSWER: That depends on how much change you need. We ask that if you need change for a $50 or $100 bill, you please let us know ahead of time so we can make sure the driver has enough change for you. Generally, our drivers do not carry more than $10 in change. It's just not safe to have them carry much more than that. If you do need change upon delivery, the driver can always run to the nearest store and make change for you. That is never a problem.
5.) How long will it take to receive my food once I place an order?
ANSWER: Our average delivery time is 45 minutes - 1 hour. This can vary depending on how far you are from the Restaurant, how busy Pony Express is, and how busy the Restaurant is. For example, if you call during the busiest part of the dinner shift, we could be very busy and the Restaurant could be very busy, so the wait time could be an 1 hour, 15 minutes. But, if you call during one of our slower times, and you're not too far from the Restaurant, we could deliver the food in 20-30 minutes.
6.) Is Corporate billing available?
ANSWER: Of
course! Please call or email us and we will fax you a corporate billing
credit agreement. We can bill you weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.
Whatever you prefer.
7.) Does Pony Express offer Catering?
ANSWER: We
do offer a drop off style of catering. We can provide disposable
plates, bowls & utensils. And, many of our restaurants offer party
platters, party subs, etc. for you to choose from. Just call us or
check out the menus on-line for more information. We will be happy to
help you plan and choose food for any meeting or event.
8.) Can Pony Express deliver outside of it's normal delivery hours?
ANSWER: Of
course! As long as we are given 24 hours advance notice (and the
restaurant is open) we will be more than happy to arrange delivery for
you at a time we wouldn't normally be open.
9.) Is the delivery charge always $4.95?
ANSWER: We
will deliver to central Eugene for a flat fee of $4.95. If you live on
the outskirts of Eugene, the fee may increase in $1 increments. We will
pretty much deliver anywhere for the right price. A few of our Restaurants are located on the outskirts of Eugene and we do charge $5.95 for delivery from those Restaurants. They are Aiyara Thai, Ciao Pizza, Far Man, Greek Paradise and Howling Coyote.
If you order over $150 we will waive the delivery charge in the Eugene area!
10.) I'd like to order from more than one restaurant. How do I do this on-line?
ANSWER: The
only was to do this on-line is to place a seperate order from each
restaurant. Normally, if you called in and did this, we would offer a
reduced $3.50 delivery fee for each additional restaurant you chose. If
you choose to order on-line, you will not physically see this discount,
but we will apply it.
11.) Should I tip my driver?
ANSWER: Gratuities
are greatly appreciated by the drivers. Remember that they spend, on
average, 30-45 minutes completing your order. This time includes
waiting for the food at the restaurant and driving it to your home. And, if you order over $75 of food, a 12%
gratuity is automatically included.

12.) I paid with a credit card, what is the convenience fee?
ANSWER: Our
prices reflect a 4% discount for paying with cash. When you use a
credit or debit card, this discount is added back onto your bill. This
is the convenience fee.
